On the first days of October, a workshop on welding and plasma cutting will be carried out at the facilities of the Center for Youth Integration San Jos\u00e9 Obrero \u2014dependent on San Jos\u00e9 Obrero Foundation\u2014 located in Malvinas Neighborhood of San Carlos de Bariloche. The aim of the workshop is to build a soil-cement brick-making machine (CINVA-RAM). The INVAP Foundation collaborates in the design and construction plan of the machine. <\/p>\n
The project, conceived in 2015 through the PA\u00cdS Program coordinated by Arch. \u00c1lvaro del Villar as a delegate of the National Ministry of Social Development, was implemented by San Jos\u00e9 Obrero Foundation’s workshop under the supervision of San Francisco Javier Salesian Institution with the cooperation of INVAP Foundation. The machines and materials required for the training course and construction of the machine under the advice of INVAP’s engineers are subsidized by the Ministry of Science, Technology and Productive Innovation through the Council for the Social Actors\u2019 Demand Program (PROCODAS, in Spanish). <\/p>\n
A group of young people from the San Jos\u00e9 Foundation will have the opportunity to learn more about special welding and plasma cutting while building a promising machine that is expected to help working-class families of San Carlos de Bariloche to improve their houses, increasing energy efficiency, reducing fire risk and paying particular attention to environmental protection.<\/p>\n
Thus, the San Jos\u00e9 Obrero Foundation is every day closer to achieve its goal of establishing a Training Center, a large production area for the young people of the working-class neighborhoods to have their first work experience, as an initial step to lead a decent life within a community that does no longer ignore them. <\/p>\n
