The Province of R\u00edo Negro, the Argentine National Commission of Atomic Energy (CNEA, in Spanish) and INVAP announce that a Shareholders\u2019 Extraordinary General Meeting was held today at the company’s headquarters in San Carlos de Bariloche, with the presence of the Governor of the Province of R\u00edo Negro, Alberto Weretilneck, and the President of the CNEA, Dr. Eng. Germ\u00e1n Guido Lavalle. At this meeting, it was decided to change the legal form of the company, which now adopts the form of a sole proprietorship, the name under which it will continue to develop its activities without changes in its operations or management structure.<\/p>\n

The Province of R\u00edo Negro remains the owner of INVAP, and the governance of the company continues to be shared with the CNEA, as it has been since its creation. This modality, key to INVAP\u2019s success for more than 48 years, will continue unchanged.<\/p>\n

In this context, it was emphasized that the decision responds to the need to adapt to the current legal regulations, while maintaining a business model that allows the company to successfully face the new challenges of the national and international context.
